We endeavor to engage in a meaningful relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through Bible study, Sunday school, corporate worship and genuine fellowship. Where our gifts and talents will be utilized to edify the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To empower God’s people for service, that will impact our homes, community and nation; by being a haven of hope and healing, in sharing and demonstrating the love of Christ as we actively seek the lost and unchurched.

What to Expect?

Evangelism Ministry
The Evangelism Ministry is designed to strengthen our witness by utilizing a variety of techniques and methods that empower believers to actively live out the Great Commission. Through intentional outreach, members are encouraged to share their faith at home, within the community, and throughout the nation.

Intake Disciplers Ministry
The Intake Disciplers Ministry helps new members become acclimated to our church family by walking alongside them through mentoring, encouragement, and support. This ministry assists individuals in successfully becoming active and engaged members of the PMBC-Lafayette family.

Impact Ministry
The Witnessing Ministry is committed to making Christ known by enthusiastically engaging the community through various outreach efforts and evangelistic practices aimed at reaching the lost and unchurched.

Family Ministry

We are in the process of developing ministries to care for Women, Men and the entire family structure.

How it Happens

New Members Orientation
New Members Orientation is designed to welcome, engage, and inform new members by providing a strong foundation in our church culture, mission, beliefs, and opportunities for service. This experience helps individuals become active participants in the PMBC-Lafayette family.

Bible Study Ministry
The Bible Study Ministry seeks to build a solid spiritual foundation and promote growth toward Christian maturity through the consistent study and application of the Word of God.

Spiritual Gifts Inventory

This is not a test so there are no wrong answers. The Spiriutal Gifts Inventory consists of 55 statement items.

Some items reflect concrete actions; other items are descriptive traits; and still others are statements of belief.

Helpful Hints in taking the inventory:

-Take your time, There is no need to rush

Your Message

A spiritual gift assessment is designed to help individuals identify the unique abilities and strengths God has given them for serving others and building up the body of Christ. By evaluating personal interests, tendencies, and areas of effectiveness in ministry, the assessment provides insight into how a person may be best equipped to contribute within the church and their community. Its purpose is not to place limits on a believer, but to encourage spiritual growth, increase self-awareness, and inspire greater confidence and intentionality in fulfilling God’s calling through service, leadership, encouragement, teaching, compassion, and other expressions of faith.
